Diane Bird Wilber

Watching our oldest receive his 2nd Masters in Computer Science at Weber State University on Friday brought back a flood of memories of when we graduated 44 years ago. I didn't want to go to our last anniversary get-together, but am considering coming to the next one. I was very sad when Glen Bowen passed away. He was my first crush and was always kind to me. I have lost touch with everyone I grew up with at Provo High.

Our daughters were married 4 years ago in May and October, just before the world shut down. Our younger son and his wife celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary May 5th. They have 5 sons and 1 daughter and live in Provo. Jason teaches Spanish at UVU. Mike retired a year and a half ago as an Electrical Engineer, providing test support for missiles at Hill Air Force Base. We live in South Ogden and also have 46 acres in Duchesne where we can get away to relax. I've been creating quilts since 1987 and it has become my favorite creative outlet. Currently working on Carnival Flower, designed by Quiltworx. It's a paperpieced work of art, colored by me using stash fabrics and my love of nature for inspiration.

We spent 21 years in Vermont, where we raised our family. Our oldest daughter is a graphics designer for a sign company and is very creative in many areas. Our younger daughter has been a pharmacist for the past year. All of our children have been living here in Utah for the past 4 years, and seem to enjoy it.
