Comments:

I fought getting the internet for manys years to the amusement of my Sons, I have reconnected to several from our class & my Military days since I have been online...this is just one more step in gaining back some of what I have left behind. I am very excited to see who if anyone remembers me. As I get older I have changed my heart & mind on the importance of the past, its stablizing force in our lives seems to me to be the driving force to our future.

I got married in 1979 and was divorced by 1984, that is when I went into the Army. I was given the great pleasure & responsiblity of severing this great Country & to join the 82nd Airborne Division; B Company 1/325th Infantry. I was at Fort Bragg for a little over 3 years when I made one of the few decisions that I will probably will always regret, I got out of the Army. I came home here for a few months but I thought I would find more of life somewhere else and I did find alot over the next 20 years or so.

I got a job offer that would take me to Los Angeles and I jumped at it with both feet! For me it was a great place to be and had Mom not needed me here (my words not hers) I would probably still be there. I worked in the fields of Demolition, Soils Remediation and Hazmat clean up. I did this work for many years with a company that did this work in 11 Western States. Like with everything else this came with both its positive things and it's negatives...I met a lot of new people but lost contact with some of my other friends. I got to see many Cities and States on a long term basis which I believe has given my a wider perspective on life. I joined the "International Union of Operating Engineers" in 1994 in order to secure a retirement & benefits, I started to do more of the dirt work & pipeline projects in the late 90's. I have always enjoyed what I do and believe that construction workers make the world, our lives and the future a better place, now that is public service as I see it.

I use to love to spent time in Mexico while I lived in the Southern California area, I still miss that. I also lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for a couple of years; i did paving there but I did not enjoy it as much as playing in the dirt. I would love to get a job offer in Las Vegas again, that was & is a great city to live in, I think. *No matter what the situation you will find what you are looking for...look for the good and that is what you will find. (my opinion anyway)

I moved back to Utah in 2005, a couple of years after Dad died. I believe Mom needed me to be around in order to help her with several things that she just not able to do anymore. I went to work for W.W. Clyde in 2005, W.W. Clyde was a good company to work for. I am currently working for Kiewit/Clyde JV...the future is unclear for a minute, thats why I should have got an education.

School Story:

I am not sure what to say here but that; "I wish that I knew then what I know now, I would have stayed in school and made the most of some of the greatest years of my life!" Sad to say I wish I had more memories of school days, I cheated myself out of that!

I skated through the 10th grade and dropped out in the 11th grade, one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my life! I did go back to night school and with the Army's help, I did get my diploma. (The Army was a great influence in my life and is still the most important thing I have ever done for others, in my opinion) I dropped out of school to work full time graveyards at Sambo's Resturant, I think that is when I set in motion my life of working certain kinds of jobs because I had no education; again I think? [I am smiling when I say that]

I spent a lot of time hanging out with Royal Holdaway, David Larson, David Holmes, Scott Fazzio, Jeff Fry & Lyle Fry. I grow up with Gregg Lindsey, Garth Christensen, Ed Symes and Fayne Cary (which I still talk to all the time).
