Brenda Kay Strang Peirce

Brenda passed away unexpectedly May 12th, 2013. Brenda was born December 19, 1960 in Provo, UT. Parents are James L. (Rosita) Strang of Lancaster, TX and Maxine J.R. (the late J. Boyd) Smeath of Orem, UT.
She attended Grandview Elementary, Dixon Jr. High School and Provo High School. She graduated from Cosmetology School. During her working career she worked for J.C. Penny’s and United Savings & Loan/Washington Mutual Bank. Brenda had a very unique talent of bringing peace and joy to all around her with just a smile. Brenda always thought of others and was willing to help in any way she could. She had a special love for family and was very loved by not only her immediate family, but all who met and knew her. Her bright spirit, beautiful blue eyes and big smile will be greatly missed. Brenda was extremely artistic and had a wonderful ability to decorate. Her home was filled with her many beautiful creations and she shared those talents freely with all. She was so generous with both her heart and her talents. After years of pain & suffering, Brenda is now free and with loved ones who have passed on before her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents and granddaughter Porscha Dzierzon. Brenda is survived by her husband, Dennis Peirce, E. Layton, UT; sons, Brandon J. Allan, Jeremy P. (Wendy) Allan, SLC, UT, stepson Zak (Sarah) Peirce, Sandy, UT. Grandchildren: Brittney, Brooke, Buddy, Jeremy Jr., Aaron and Stella. Surviving siblings: Joni L. Smith, Orem, UT, Sandra (Jimmy) Honeycutt, Locust Grove, GA, Gordon (Susan) Strang, St George, UT, Stephanie (Brian) Tippets, Hyrum, UT, and Nicole Hopkins, Orem, UT. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
