After high school, Steve married Candice Freeman on December 16, 1980 in the Salt Lake, LDS Temple.
Steve served in the US Navy.
He passed away 24 June 1988 in Glendale, Clark County, Nevada a victim of a traffic accident.His family believes he fell asleep at the wheel while traveling from California to Utah.
