I didn't know Alan well but when I saw him in the halls or later at our reunion meetings we always greeted me with a great smile and a hello. I found him very patient and kind. I'm sad that he had to endure this sickness and that he lost his battle. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and two daughters. Alan you are a good Man and you will be greatly missed!
